Roma dominate the first half at Old Trafford thanks to Soule and Malen

In the frenetic atmosphere of Old Trafford, Roma takes a 0‑2 lead at the end of the first forty‑five minutes of the Champions League clash against Manchester United.
The goals from Matias Soule and Donyell Malen are deciding the match, after a superb first half from Gian Piero Gasperini's side.
The first advantage for the giallorossi came in the eleventh minute, when Matias Soule finished at the near post after a pinpoint pass from Rodrigo Mora.
Six minutes later, Donyell Malen converted a penalty, making it 0‑2.
The Red Devils tried a timid reaction in the remaining minutes of the first half, never troubling goalkeeper Vasquez.
Roma had at least a couple of further counter‑attack chances, not fully exploited by Gasperini's attack.
At halftime the score is 0‑2; the giallorosso coach has already substituted Rensch in the 21’ minute for a muscle problem, bringing on Lulli.
