Red Devil missing Sclessin for the clash with Turkey

Diego Moreira, winger of AC Milan, will not be present at Sclessin this Friday for the third Nations League match of the Red Devils against Turkey, following a suspension for accumulation of yellow cards, including one received in the 42nd minute against France.

Defeat against France

Belgium failed to impose itself against France tonight at the King Baudouin Stadium, losing 0-1 after two periods of missed chances. Michael Olise, who entered the game in the 77th minute, unlocked the situation for the Bleus, while the Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens did not face any serious threat.

The winger of Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich, Michael Olise, won his duel against Maxim De Cuyper and gave no chance to Senne Lammens, consolidating the French domination.

Less incisive than against Italy the previous week, Moreira struggled against the Bleus of Zinedine Zidane, despite being in the starting lineup for the second consecutive time by coach Mark van Bommel.

Positioned on the right in place of Dodi Lukebakio, who entered in the 63rd minute, Moreira was active but could not influence the result.

After receiving a yellow card in the 42nd minute, he will be suspended for the match against Turkey, the accumulation also stemming from a warning received against Italy a few days earlier.

Born in Liège, Diego Moreira completed part of his training at Standard Liège before joining AC Milan.
