Rangers chase Troyes defender Sankhoun Diawara as Basel joins race

In Glasgow, Rangers' scouting team has set its sights on 20‑year‑old ESTAC Troyes centre‑back Sankhoun Diawara, a France youth international whose contract runs to 2027, while Swiss side FC Basel also intensifies its pursuit of the defender. Diawara, who made 17 senior appearances last season, is viewed as a prime target for the Scottish club.
