PSV in form after 7-0, Club Bruges rely on van Bommel and Leko

The Dutch of PSV arrive in top form after crushing Willem II 7‑0 this weekend, while Club Bruges aim to surprise them at home. Ivan Leko, coach of Club Bruges, will be able to rely on an almost full squad, the only absentee being Joel Ordoñez.

Louis Janssen said that beating PSV on their own turf would be a great achievement for Club Bruges. Union SG set the example last year by winning 1‑3 at the Philips Stadion. “We like to attack, but we also want to defend,” said the Club Bruges coach.

“It's the Champions League. So we have to be at the top in every aspect of the game,” he added. “Our goal is to not concede any chances,” he specified. “Opposite us is PSV… a real winning machine, with players who have experience at Inter, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona,” he highlighted. “It’s a great challenge for us,” the coach concluded.
