PSG executives face court questioning in Hamraoui harassment probe

Paris Saint-Germain officials were heard by a Paris court on Tuesday as part of the investigation into alleged moral harassment of former player Kheira Hamraoui. The free‑speech hearing took place in Paris following the complaint she lodged in May 2025, the AFP reported.

Legal hearings progress

The Paris prosecutor confirmed that several hearings had already occurred before the summer, involving members of the club’s staff and its executive team. The direction of PSG was questioned in a free hearing, with the Paris magistrate seeking to determine whether the club deliberately sidelined Hamraoui after her recovery.

Background of the complaint

Hamraoui, 36, filed the harassment claim after alleging the club forced her out following an assault on 4 November 2021 in Chatou, where she was struck with iron bars. The original assault, investigated by the Versailles tribunal, led prosecutors to request a trial against former player Aminata Diallo and sports adviser César Macavala, suspected of orchestrating the attack.

Hamraoui left PSG in June 2023 and subsequently joined clubs in Mexico and Saudi Arabia – Al‑Shabab in 2024 and Al‑Hilal in 2025 – citing the alleged marginalisation as a factor in her moves.

Her lawyer, Pascal Garbarini, said the complaint “has been taken very seriously by the prosecutor” and praised Hamraoui’s “combative spirit”. He added that the case could set a strong precedent, emphasizing that players should not be discarded when they no longer fit a club’s sporting project.

Beyond the criminal proceedings, Hamraoui has also pursued a labour claim for €3.5 million against PSG. After a December 2025 judgment rejected the claim, she has appealed the decision.

When approached for comment, PSG declined to comment on the ongoing investigations. The Paris prosecutor’s office continues to examine whether the club’s actions amounted to intentional exclusion, with further hearings expected.
