Premier League club readies record €159m offer for Vinícius Jr.

🇬🇧

Premier League giants are reportedly readying a record €159 million (£137 million) bid for Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior as his contract renewal stalls. Negotiations are expected to resume after the World Cup, but the Brazilian’s salary demands and Real Madrid’s limited window add urgency to the saga.

Vinícius Júnior has demanded a salary that would make him the highest‑paid player in Real Madrid’s squad. The club’s insistence on a lower wage has widened the gap between the parties and stalled progress.

Real Madrid believes a narrow window remains to secure an agreement before the player enters the final year of his contract. Failing that, Vinícius could leave on a free transfer and command a signing bonus comparable to the one Kylian Mbappé received when he joined the club.

One of England’s elite Premier League sides is reportedly preparing a £137 million (≈ €159 million) offer for the Brazilian forward this summer. Bayern Munich are also tracking the situation, although they are expected to struggle to meet Vinícius’ financial demands, with speculation linking winger Michael Olise to their interest.

Paris Saint‑Germain are said to be monitoring the developments and may enter the race should Vinícius become available. Their involvement adds another heavyweight contender to the potential transfer market.

Real Madrid plans to issue a final contract proposal to Vinícius shortly. If he rejects it, the club is prepared to negotiate a sale with interested parties rather than risk losing him for nothing, earmarking any fee for a marquee replacement such as Michael Olise.

As negotiations remain at an impasse, Europe’s wealthiest clubs are positioning themselves for a possible opportunity, keeping the player’s long‑term future uncertain.
