Portugal sets up base in Malmö ahead of the match with Denmark

The National Team of Portugal arrived this morning in Malmö, Sweden, to begin preparation for the third matchday of the Nations League against Denmark. The squad set up base just over 40 kilometres from Copenhagen, crossing the Øresund Bridge.

The team trained at 5 p.m. on Monday, behind closed doors, still in Malmö. The next training session, scheduled for Wednesday, will take place at Parken stadium in Copenhagen, preparing the group for Thursday's match.

On the morning after the victory over Norway, the Portuguese delegation travelled again to Sweden, reinforcing the preparation logistics. The win in Norway was the final step before the clash with Denmark.

Portugal leads Group 4 with six points, while Denmark sits in third place with three points, after beating Wales. Both sides come into the encounter with different paths in the competition.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. this Thursday, 1 October. The match will determine whether Portugal retains the group lead.
