Anselmo MacNulty leaves PEC Zwolle on free transfer

Anselmo MacNulty will leave PEC Zwolle at the end of the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old defender’s contract will not be extended.

MacNulty joined Zwolle in 2022 and made 58 appearances. His departure follows a series of defensive changes at the Dutch club.

PEC Zwolle confirmed no new contract was offered to the defender. His contract expired on June 30.

The defender’s future appears set for a move to Germany. His next club is not yet announced.

PEC Zwolle now prepares for squad rebuild ahead of the new season. Transfer activity is expected in the coming weeks.

MacNulty’s free transfer allows him to join any club without compensation.
