Paris Saint‑Germain chase €35 m Belgian winger as Akliouche move stalls

🇫🇷 By 4AllFootball ·

Paris Saint‑Germain have opened talks for 21‑year‑old Belgian winger Mika Godts, valued at €35 million, as they continue to explore options beyond the Maghnes Akliouche deal. Luis Campos is leading the effort, convinced the young international can add depth to the Paris attack.

After (Après) advancing on the Maghnes Akliouche dossier, the Club confirmed it is not stopping there and is now targeting another offensive prospect. Campos is pushing for the Ajax Amsterdam winger, already attracted by the Paris project.

Foot01 PSG have started formal discussions to understand the conditions of a potential Mika Godts transfer. The club’s interest is described as an additional option rather than a replacement for Akliouche.

The 21‑year‑old left‑winger has been with Ajax Amsterdam since 2023, developing into a regular starter on the left flank. His performances have earned him recent call‑ups to the Belgian (Belge) national team.

Fabrizio Romano notes that the European champion sees Godts as a supplementary choice, not a direct alternative to Akliouche. The Dutch side initially wanted to retain the promising element.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, PSG had already made preliminary contacts with Ajax in mid‑March regarding Godts. Campos believes the player’s profile and willingness to accept a backup role make him a suitable fit.

Godts, who speaks French, was reportedly spotted in Porto alongside a Paris sporting adviser. Fabrice Hawkins adds that the Belgian is excited about the prospect of joining the Club.

Transfermarkt values Godts at €35 million. A native of Louvain, he quickly rose through the Dutch system, impressing with his technical ability.

Last season he recorded 17 goals and 12 assists in the Eredivisie, performances that opened the door to the Belgian national team. His market value reflects those contributions.

Paris Saint‑Germain still need to reach an agreement with Ajax, which now knows the capital club is ready to accelerate the deal to provide Luis Enrique with a fresh offensive option.
