Paris FC's managerial shift: Rosenior poised to replace Kombouaré

🇬🇧
Liam Rosenior, the former Chelsea manager, is set to become Paris FC’s new head coach, with the agreement reached as the Ligue 2 side Les Parisiens delays its pre‑season training start to 9 July, following recent speculation about Antoine Kombouaré’s future. Paris FC is preparing for another managerial change. Antoine Kombouaré replaced Stéphane Gilli in February. At the time of his appointment, Paris FC were threatened by relegation. The Kanak oversaw a spectacular return to form, allowing Les Parisiens to secure a very comfortable mid‑table finish. Doubts have since emerged regarding Kombouaré’s continuation at the club. He sought to dispel talk of an exit, stating last week that he would be present for the start of pre‑season training. L’Équipe reported on Monday that Paris FC, scheduled to resume pre‑season training on Wednesday, delayed their return until 9 July. The decision came amid ongoing talks with Rosenior. Foot Mercato now understands that former Chelsea manager Rosenior has reached an agreement with Les Parisiens. Minor details remain to be ironed out, but Rosenior was the priority target for sporting director Marco Neppe.
