Paris bolsters attack with Torres and Godts as Kroupi pursuit looms
PSG Mercato has already strengthened the Paris attack with Ferran Torres and Mika Godts, yet the club could reactivate its pursuit of former Ligue 1 forward Éli Junior Kroupi, a player linked to a €100 million fee, as the transfer window draws to a close.
New signings bolster Paris attack
Le PSG announced the arrivals of Ferran Torres and Mika Godts, confirming the club’s intent to reinforce its front line before the window ends on 1 September. Both players join a squad already primed for a final push in the summer market.
Kroupi chase hinges on departures
According to PSGInside-Actu, the Paris club may reactivate interest in Éli Junior Kroupi if Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye leave Paris, providing the financial margin needed for a €100 million‑plus move.
European clubs are monitoring Barcola and Mbaye closely; Liverpool continues to push for Barcola, while Mbaye also attracts interest from several continental formations.
The interest in Kroupi is not new. In May, L’Équipe reported that PSG had positioned itself on the Bournemouth striker, who scored 13 goals in 33 Premier League matches during his debut season in England.
Luis Enrique warns PSG of fierce rivals after narrow Lens defeat
Kroupi transferred from Lorient to Bournemouth in 2025 for about €13 million and quickly emerged as a French revelation in the Premier League, praised for his versatility across the axis and the wing.
His profile is considered particularly appealing to Luis Enrique, offering tactical flexibility for the Club’s offensive setup.
Kroupi suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal this summer, sidelining him for an estimated three to four months and pushing his return to competition toward October or November.
Lens upset forces PSG to widen Ligue 1 title focus
Bournemouth has remained firm on his valuation, rejecting several significant offers from Europe; FC Barcelona reportedly made two proposals below €100 million, both turned down.
If Barcola and Mbaye depart, PSG could allocate additional resources to secure Kroupi, initially bolstering offensive rotation before allowing him to earn a regular starting place as the market closes.
