Nations League: Israel match to be broadcast on ORF 1 in Austria

The Raiffeisen Arena in Linz fills up on Thursday as Austria takes on Israel at 20:45 in the Nations League. As of Wednesday, 1 000 remaining tickets were available, but most fans will be sitting in front of the TV because the match is broadcast on ORF 1.

Host Rainer Pariasek will welcome the viewers from 20:15 together with experts Herbert Prohaska and Peter Stöger, with the latter also being heard during the match. Commentator Daniel Warmuth takes over the match description; he gained fame at the World Cup in the Austria‑Algeria game with the exclamation “Bist du deppert” and was nominated for the “Sport‑TV‑Moment of the Year” category by KURIER‑Romy.

The interviews are conducted by Paul Passler. In addition, the remaining five Nations‑League matches of the ÖFB will also be shown on ORF, while the match on Sunday against Kosovo at the Ernst‑Happel‑Stadion is already sold out.
