Monaco send 19‑year‑old Oumar Konaté on loan to struggling Laval
AS Monaco have arranged a season‑long loan for 19‑year‑old striker Oumar Konaté to Ligue 2 side Laval, with the deal containing no option to buy. The move will see the Ivorian U20 international gain regular playing time as Laval sit 18th in the French second division.
Konaté has already featured twice this season. He came on as a substitute against Górnik Zabrze in the Conference League and again versus Le Havre in Ligue 1, but only managed a handful of minutes on the pitch.

The loan is intended to give him more minutes and aid his development. Monaco keep the right to decide his future as the agreement does not include a purchase clause.
