Mission Barcelona: Vlahovic sets August deadline to choose future

🇪🇸 By 4AllFootball ·

The Missão Barcelona for Dusan Vlahovic has become urgent as the Serbian striker, now free after his Juventus contract expired, has set the first week of August as the deadline to choose his next club and avoid a delayed pre‑season.

Vlahovic confirmed he will not wait any longer to decide his future, having left Juventus at the end of June and entering the mercado as a free agent.

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona remains his top priority, even though the club has not yet made an official proposal.

He still hopes to wear the blaugrana shirt and says he would lower his salary demands if a major club from one of Europe’s five top leagues makes an offer.

Besiktas has presented a second, more advantageous offer, including a two‑season contract and a signing bonus, but Vlahovic does not place a move to Turkey as a priority.

Juventus has already completed its offensive planning by signing Kolo Muani from Paris Saint‑Germain, effectively ending any chance of Vlahovic returning to Turin.

The striker wants to begin pre‑season with his new club as soon as possible, aiming to decide in the early days of August.

Barcelona continues to monitor the striker market, with potential moves involving Julián Álvarez and Ferran Torres that could open space for Vlahovic.
