Violence erupts after Standard-Charleroi 0-2 loss

Violence flared after Standard-Charleroi’s 0-2 Pro League defeat as fireworks rained down, fans stormed the pitch, and clashes erupted with players. Stands witnessed further altercations.

Pro League-CEO Lorin Parys called for action: “I am fed up with a group hijacking our football.” The Royal Belgian Football Association has launched an investigation.
