5,000 Valencia CF fans protest Lim and allies at Mestalla

🇪🇸

Over 5,000 Valencia CF supporters marched to denounce Peter Lim and his local allies before the season finale at Mestalla.

Demonstrators targeted Lim’s ownership group and his perceived collaborators within the club’s hierarchy. Chants and banners condemned Lim’s tenure, calling for his departure.

The protest occurred prior to Valencia CF’s final LaLiga match of the season. Security maintained control as fans displayed signs reading “Lim out” and “Traitors.”

Club president Lay Hoon Chan addressed the crowd post-match, acknowledging fan frustration but urging patience amid ongoing disputes. The club did not comment further on the demonstration.

Lim, who acquired Valencia CF in 2014, faces mounting pressure from supporters over financial decisions and sporting results. The protest reflects deep divisions among fans and club stakeholders.

Looking ahead, Valencia CF’s summer transfer plans and governance structure remain under scrutiny amid the ongoing unrest.
