Manchester City eye €50m bid for Club Brugge’s rising striker

Nicolò Tresoldi is flourishing in his second season at Club Brugge, yet the English giants are already plotting a hefty summer offer, setting up a clash between the Belgian club’s desire to retain their prized forward and Manchester City’s appetite for a new attacking weapon.

The 22‑year‑old striker has become one of the Jupiler Pro League’s most coveted talents. Brugge signed him in the summer of 2025 for roughly €7 million from Hannover 96. He is contracted until mid‑2029, meaning a winter departure is off the table.

Manchester City prepare €50m proposal

Spanish outlet Fichajes Manchester City is preparing a bid of about €50 million for the summer of 2027. The English powerhouse would view the 22‑year‑old as a future option at the Etihad Stadium. Whether the club actually places that sum on the table remains to be confirmed.

TEAMtalk added that Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Everton and Leeds United are also monitoring Tresoldi’s progress. The breadth of interest underlines his rising reputation beyond Belgium.

Club Brugge has made it clear that a winter transfer is not discussable, reinforcing their commitment to keep the forward until at least the end of the season. Should his performances continue at the current level, the club could again generate a highly lucrative transfer dossier next summer.
