The move, confirmed by The Sun, sees the Wales youth international leave Old Trafford in search of regular first‑team football.

Manchester United completed the permanent transfer to the Austrian side Wacker Innsbruck despite the domestic window in England being closed, because Austria’s window remains open until Thursday evening, allowing the club to finalise Biancheri’s departure.

According to The Sun, the 19‑year‑old decided to leave United to secure regular first‑team football, ending his time at the club without making a senior appearance.

Although English clubs cannot register new players after the deadline, international moves are still permissible when the receiving nation’s window is active, a rule that facilitated the Austrian transfer.

From Cardiff to Old Trafford

United outbid Premier League rivals Chelsea to sign Biancheri from Cardiff City three‑and‑a‑half years ago, adding him to the academy as a highly rated prospect.

He quickly became a fan favourite, netting 16 goals in 45 appearances for the Under‑21 side and scoring a decisive winner against Athletic Bilbao in the Premier League International Cup last September.

Despite those performances, Biancheri could not break into the first‑team picture at Old Trafford, prompting him to seek a fresh challenge abroad rather than continue waiting for an opportunity.
