Lyon face Crystal Palace despite many absences
In the Groupama stadium, the Gones are preparing to defend their excellent start to the season against a reputedly difficult English side to maneuver. The match, broadcast live on Canal+ Foot, Canal+ Live and streaming on myCANAL, promises to be crucial for both teams.
Absences and uncertainties in Lyon
Lyon, missing several key players, sees Paulo Fonseca having to cope with significant absences. Loïs Openda is out due to a fibula injury, while Mohamed Ouédraogo continues his rehabilitation after a serious knee injury. Nicolas Tagliafico and Moussa Niakhaté remain uncertain.
Despite these gaps, OL retains offensive assets: Keito Nakamura, Ernest Nuamah and Pavel Šulc are expected to be fit and integrated into the planned 4‑3‑3.
