Love of the game brings 41‑year‑old Luiz Carlos to district side

After a two‑year absence from the pitch, 41‑year‑old midfielder Luiz Carlos has re‑entered active football, signing for Aguiar da Beira, a club competing in the 1st division of the AF Guarda. The move follows a career that includes 240 matches in the Primeira Liga.

Luiz Carlos spent two years away from competitive play before this return, underscoring a personal decision driven by his love for the sport.
