🇳🇱 By 4AllFootball Editorial ·
TransferTalk reports a flurry of contrasting moves: Jan Plug arrives on loan at Excelsior from Feyenoord, Hwang In‑beom is poised for a permanent switch to FC Porto, and Jamiro Monteiro leaves PEC Zwolle for NEC, while the same bulletin highlights young talents Mika Godts, Crysencio Summerville and Anis Hadj Moussa. Jan Plug, the 21‑year‑old left‑back, joins Excelsior on loan after nine appearances for Feyenoord, including Europa League outings. The Katwijk‑grown player progressed through the Feyenoord Academy, debuted in May 2025 and spent the second half of last season on loan at FC Dordrecht under Dirk Kuyt. Hwang In‑beom, the South Korean midfielder, is in advanced talks for a transfer from Feyenoord to FC Porto, with a reported three‑million‑euro annual salary. His four goals and eight assists in 54 matches for Feyenoord attracted Porto after strong World Cup performances, and he would work under former Ajax coach Francesco Farioli. Jamiro Monteiro, 32, signs a two‑year contract with NEC after leaving PEC Zwolle on a free transfer. The Kaapverdië international brings experience from SC Cambuur, Heracles Almelo, De Graafschap, FC Metz, Philadelphia Union and San Jose Earthquakes, and he featured in four World Cup games for Kaapverdië. Lucas Digne, France’s left‑back, will move from Aston Villa to Paris Saint‑Germain after the World Cup, with a €10 million fee. The 32‑year‑old has previously played for Lille, PSG, AS Roma, FC Barcelona, Everton and Aston Villa, accumulating 182 appearances for Villa. Ajax are reported to be targeting Brazilian striker Marcos Leonardo and Moroccan World Cup standout Azzedine Ounahi, adding to the transfer buzz surrounding Dutch clubs. AZ Alkmaar announced a partnership with French side AS Nancy Lorraine to share scouting and development methods, citing past successes with Teun Koopmeiners and Tijjani Reijnders and referencing former French star Michel Platini’s early career at Nancy.
