The Nations League evening delivered a great draw for Italy at France's home and a series of unexpected results across all groups. Among the most notable news, Belgium beat Turkey and Poland thrashed Romania.

League A: the Belgian surprise

In Italy's group, Belgium beat Turkey 3-0, earning second place in the standings behind France. Italy, however, finished level 1-1 against France, maintaining its position in the group.

Moving to League B, Poland dominated Romania with a clean 6-0, thanks to Lewandowski's haul. Romania held a ten‑minute lead before suffering a red card for Dragusin.

In the same group, Bosnia drew 1-1 with Sweden on the same day Edin Dzeko said goodbye to the national team. The result left Bosnia on five points.

Northern Ireland secured a clear 3-0 win over Ukraine, while Hungary edged out Georgia, consolidating its position in the standings.

In League C, Montenegro beat Latvia 2-1, while Moldova defeated Kazakhstan 2-1. Cyprus closed with a 2-0 victory over Armenia and the match between Far Oer and Slovakia ended 1-1.

The final tables show France in first place in Group 1, Northern Ireland topping Group 2 of League B, and Montenegro leading Group 2 of League C.

Overall, the Nations League night confirmed the competitiveness of the groups, with many teams exceeding expectations.
