Lens eyes Paris FC midfielder Camara despite reinforced midfield
RC Lens has signalled that its recruitment drive in midfield is not yet complete, despite recent signings, as the club now sets its sights on 29‑year‑old Paris FC defensive midfielder Adama Camara, who is also being courted by clubs abroad.
Le RC Lens does not appear to have finished its recruitment in the centre of the park, according to reports.
Adama Camara, aged 29, currently features as a regular defensive midfielder for Paris FC and can also fill in as a central defender, offering versatility to any side.
Lensois.com the club’s recruitment cell is monitoring Camara closely, indicating a serious interest from the Les Sang et Or.
Après the arrivals of Michaël Cuisance and Yacine Titraoui, the midfield has already been reshaped after the departures of Adrien Thomasson and Mamadou Sangaré, with Titraoui joining from Sporting Charleroi for €8 million on a five‑year deal, the Belgian side receiving the fee.
Yacine Titraoui is now officially a Lensois for the next five seasons, while Andrija Bulatovic is expected to enjoy more playing time this campaign and Amadou Haidara continues his gradual return following surgery.
Interest in Camara is not limited to Lens; Nice, PSV Eindhoven and several foreign formations have also been linked to the Parisian midfielder.
The club regularly explores players sharing the same first name, as it previously examined Adama Guira, showing a pattern in its scouting approach.
Pour Camara, no contract offer or agreement has been announced at this stage, leaving the potential move to the summer window still uncertain.
