Lang praises Allegri criticizes Conte after decisive goal vs Frosinone
Noa Lang highlighted that his role at SSC Napoli has changed under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, emphasizing the direct communication with the coach and openly criticizing the former manager Antonio Conte. The Dutch centre‑forward scored his first goal of the season in the 3-0 victory over Frosinone, played this evening at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The new dialogue with Allegri
“First of all, he talks to me…”, Lang told the Italian media after the match, adding that dialogue is the key to his improvement. The Dutchman explained that Allegri tells him what to improve and gives him more freedom of movement, allowing him to find spaces in attack.
Criticisms of Conte
Lang kept firing shots at Antonio Conte, describing the former coach’s lack of communication as a factor that made his previous season difficult. The player recalled the public criticisms aimed at Conte in recent months, asserting that he now feels the confidence of the new manager.
The centre‑forward also recalled his loan spell at Galatasaray, which began in January of last year, and described his return to Napoli under Allegri as a “new beginning”.
Lang praises Allegri’s communication as Napoli turn a page on Conte
During the interview with Italia, Lang stated: “Everyone knows I had a difficult season with the other coach. I feel the confidence of this coach, I have to show in every minute of play that I work for the team.” He added that he needs to improve his fitness, but that the first step has been taken.
Lang made 27 competitive appearances under Conte, with one goal and two assists, of which only nine were in the starting XI. After Conte’s departure in the summer, Allegri took the helm, giving Lang the chance to start anew.
