Lamine Mejor Talento' celebrates his third victory in London

On the red carpet of the Ballon d'Or Gala, under the lights of London, Lamine Yamal stepped onto the stage to receive the ‘Best Talent’ award. According to the EFE agency, journalist Xavier Muñoz covered the event. The 19‑year‑old forward, already a protagonist of the event, was applauded as the camera focused on his smile.
Third consecutive award
For the third consecutive time, the FC Barcelona forward lifted the award, now called Talent and administered by France Football. In previous editions the prize bore the name of the French legend Raymond Kopa. At 19, Yamal becomes the first footballer to win the Kopa Trophy three times.
The award designates the best footballer under 21 in the world, and no other player had managed to repeat it for three consecutive years. The feat highlights the continuity of the performance of Yamal in domestic leagues, European competitions and the upcoming World Cup.
