Kvaratskhelia injured, Napoli worried after the collapse in Paris

The young Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paris Saint-Germain player, collapsed to the ground after a challenge during the first hour of the second half of the Champions League match against Barcelona. He was forced to leave the field carried in his arms by the French club's medical staff.

Conditions and recovery prospects

There is great concern about Kvaratskhelia's condition, forced to be substituted during the second half of the big Champions League clash. The player left the pitch visibly in pain, with his knee apparently twisted.

His former club Napoli, where Kvaratskhelia shone last season, follows the incident with apprehension, fearing a prolonged absence of the talent. The Italian club is closely monitoring the medical updates, hoping for a swift recovery.

The injury occurred at the start of the second half, probably due to an unnatural twist of the knee, and the condition will be assessed in the coming hours. At present it is not possible to know the extent of the damage nor to estimate the recovery time.

The fear is that it is a serious problem, capable of keeping KVARATSKHELIA away from the pitch for an extended period. An injury of such severity could affect Paris Saint-Germain's season in the Champions League.

Until the test results are known, the date of TORNA remains uncertain, leaving PSG and the fans awaiting an answer. The team will have to reorganise without its key striker for the upcoming matches.
