Klopp praises Wirtz: Germany shines and the Reds will be happy
Florian Wirtz's performance has reinforced the credibility of the new Germany led by Jurgen Klopp and has given Liverpool fans reason to be excited, who have gladly followed his decisive contribution against Serbia.
Wirtz's double against Serbia
In the Nations League match against Serbia, Wirtz provided the assist to Bischof for the first goal in the 39th minute of the first half, opening the scoring.
In the second half, the same player scored the double, completing the 2-0 final for Germany.
Jurgen Klopp commented immediately after the game, calling Flo "an incredible player" and emphasizing his joy and hard work even without the ball.
Klopp added: "I think everyone at Liverpool is very, very happy with his performance".
The German midfielder was bought from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 at a high price, but so far has not lived up to expectations with the Reds.
This display for the national team could represent a turning point in his season, especially with club football resuming after the break.
