Kane wins Ballon d’Or, ends Bundesliga wait

Harry Kane has ended the long wait of the Bundesliga and England with winning the Ballon d’Or. In an emotional statement he said: „It’s an honour to play for Bayern Munich. To represent you is a real privilege.“ The striker emphasized that the award is the result of years of work.
He added that he was happy to bring the trophy back to Bayern Munich. Without the team, he explained, it would not have been possible, because the teammates drive him forward and challenge him in competition.
Thanks to the Team
„Since I’ve been with you, I have improved as a player, improved as a person and a leader“, said Kane, thanking the club’s leadership. He highlighted that the environment develops him daily.
The striker recalled the many ups and downs of his early career. „Not many people would have thought it … I had to bide my time and work hard“, he emphasized, naming confidence and determination as the keys.
Kane emphasized that winning the Ballon d’Or is not an endpoint, but a sign of continuous improvement. „No matter what I achieve, how many goals I score, winning the Ballon d’Or, it’s always about getting better“, he concluded.
The contrast between his humility and the historic triumph shows that even after the biggest individual award, new goals still lie ahead of him.
