Juventus seeks striker, eyes Bernardo Silva and Randal Kolo Muani

With the January transfer window now looming, Juventus has confirmed the priority of finding a new striker to partner Randal Kolo Muani and, simultaneously, is monitoring the situation of Bernardo Silva at Real Madrid, while other major European clubs are starting their negotiations for the second half of the season.

Search for a physical striker for Juventus

Coach Luciano Spalletti reiterated the need for a physically robust striker, capable of occupying the penalty area and offering different qualities compared to the Frenchman Randal Kolo Muani. The club has ruled out Nick Woltemade as the ideal profile and has reassured the management about the possibility of acting in January, thus launching a search for opportunities among players potentially dissatisfied at their respective clubs.

Bernardo Silva under the Juventus spotlight

At the same time, Juventus is closely following the developments of Bernardo Silva at Real Madrid. The Portuguese, who arrived in the summer from Manchester City, is finding less playing time than expected in José Mourinho's hierarchy. The Juventus club values his ability to cover multiple roles between midfield and attacking midfield, but at the moment there are no official contacts; a possible transfer could only happen via loan, with Real willing to contribute to the wage payment.

Liverpool, however, has placed Pierre Kalulu among the main candidates to strengthen the right flank next summer. The Frenchman, with a contract that expires in 2029 and a salary of around 2.5 million per season, is already attracting interest from Juventus, who are working to secure him.

Roma, under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, continues to scout young attacking talents. Sporting director Tony D'Amico has identified William Gomes of Porto, born in 2006, as a possible ideal target, but the price is a hurdle: Porto intends to extend the Brazilian's contract until 2031, raising the release clause from 80 to 100 million euros.

Napoli, after attempting to purchase Renato Veiga in the summer, has opted for Benoît Badiashile with a more sustainable loan arrangement, foreseeing a total package of around 30 million in case of a permanent transfer.

Fiorentina must make important decisions on several squad elements. Christ Inao Oulai, bought for 26 million plus bonuses, is struggling to settle, but a departure in January is not expected. Dodò's future is uncertain; the club will await concrete offers before deciding whether to renew his contract for two more years until 2029. Moreover, the possible exit of Marin Pongracic could prompt Fiorentina to act again in defense, with Tiago Gabriel of Lecce priced at around 25 million euros.

Finally, Milan has secured Strahinja Pavlović, the Serbian defender who arrived from Salzburg for 18 million plus 2 million in bonuses, extending his contract until 30 June 2031, confirming him as a cornerstone of the back line.
