Juventus looks for a new goalkeeper: Brazil offers Pedro Morisco
In the afternoon at the Turin sports centre, Guglielmo Vicario dominates the Juventus goalposts, saving two close-range shots and showing he deserves the redemption of his jersey, but the management knows that it is not enough to guarantee the team's continuity.
Uncertainties between the posts
The club watches closely the uncertainties surrounding Polish goalkeeper Bartłomiej Grabara, still recovering from a serious injury. Moreover, the contracts of Neto and Filippo Pinsoglio will expire in June, leaving Juventus without clear options. For this reason, in addition to previous experiences with former Empoli and Tottenham, the management deems it essential to add another element between the posts.
Juventus is already vigilant on the market, both for the upcoming winter window and the subsequent summer window, with particular attention to the goalkeeper department. The management wants to anticipate any emergencies and assess every possible solution before the deadlines approach.
According to Tuttosport, Brazilian defender Pedro Morisco from Coritiba is among the most intriguing candidates. He made his debut with Juventus in the recent friendly against India, contributing two decisive interventions to the 4‑0 win.
His contract runs until December 2027; Brazilian sources indicate a fee ranging between five and eight million to secure him. Born in 2004, Morisco combines excellent abilities between the posts with a good footplay.
He is not the only Juventus target: young prospect Lorenzo Palmisani is already at the centre of negotiations. After several talks with his agent Federico Pastorello, the management is considering a purchase in January, with a subsequent loan to Frosinone until the end of the year.
