Juventus chase Vicario as backup options line up amid PSG drift

Juventus have intensified their hunt for a new goalkeeper, naming Guglielmo Vicario as the priority target while keeping Lucas Chevalier and Vanja Milinković‑Savić as reserve options should the move fall through.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the pursuit of Vicario gained momentum after Parma’s Zion Suzuki edged closer to Paris Saint-Germain, effectively ending Juventus’s interest in the Japanese forward.

The Italy international goalkeeper, eager to return home, is ready to join the Bianconeri, and Juventus are pushing for a loan deal that requires Spurs’ approval.

Tottenham have signalled that Vicario is not central to their plans, having already secured Martin Dubravka and renewed Antonín Kinský as their primary keepers.

Should the Vicario deal stall, Juventus have alternatives: Chevalier, who risks becoming surplus at PSG where Luis Enrique favours Safonov and may add Suzuki, remains on the shortlist.

Milinković‑Savić has been made available by Napoli as they prepare to hand the gloves to Alex Meret, providing another viable option for the Italian club.

Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu is also listed among the candidates, expanding the pool of potential signings.

The priority for chief executive Giovanni Carnevali and sporting director Frederic Massara, however, remains Vicario, with the club’s DI closely monitoring the negotiations.
