Jürgen Klopp warns of Nicolò Tresoldi's double choice

Jürgen Klopp, manager of Germany, reminded this Wednesday that the young striker of Club Brugge, Nicolò Tresoldi, has still not decided between Germany and Italy, even though he already plays with the German U21s and wants to first compete in the U21 Euro.
The dilemma between Germany and Italy
Time is not necessarily pressing, but the moment of decision is approaching, reminds the German manager. Roberto Mancini had already mentioned Tresoldi’s case before the Italy‑Belgium match, joking that after the U21 Euro he would feel « 51 % Italian and 49 % German ».
After his thunderous hat‑trick in the Champions League against Inter Milan, the Club Brugge striker returned to the spotlight, reigniting the debate over his international allegiance.
During an analysis, Klopp said: « Of course we are keeping an eye on him, we are not fools », before adding that « he must decide himself when to make his choice ». He concluded that « we must not chase anyone ».
Tresoldi confirmed he wants to compete in the U21 Euro with Germany, having started the current cycle, and aims to finish in style by winning the tournament. He considers it difficult to switch national teams during the competition.
