Joao Neves and Vitinha excluded from Joao Félix's dream eleven, a surprise

While Joao Félix unveiled his ideal eleven in an interview with the Madrid daily AS, he surprised by leaving out PSG midfielders Vitinha and Joao Neves, despite being highly coveted. This decision contrasts with the presence of several international stars in the same lineup.

The eleven chosen by Félix

During the gathering with Portugal, Joao Félix accepted the little game proposed by AS and put together his best current eleven. The Al‑Nassr striker thus answered the newspaper's questions, revealing his preferences.

In goal, the former Colchonero named FC Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia. In defence, he chose the three compatriots Nuno Mendes, Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo, accompanied by the young Spanish Pau Cubarsi.

In midfield, Joao Félix preferred Pedri and Enzo Fernandez, leaving out Vitinha and Joao Neves. This exclusion is all the more surprising as the two PSG midfielders are often cited among the best in the world in their position.

For the attack, the 26‑year‑old placed Kylian Mbappé on the left, Rayan Cherki at number 10, Lamine Yamal on the right and Harry Kane up front. No Cristiano Ronaldo is present in this eleven.

The same Cristiano Ronaldo plays alongside Joao Félix at Al‑Nassr, but he is not selected in the proposed eleven. However, the two men were lined up together in attack for Portugal on Thursday night in the Nations League.
