Jarma Mohamed earns first Somalia recall with Bulls

Jersey Bulls have celebrated a landmark moment as midfielder Jarma Mohamed secured his first senior international call‑up, becoming the club’s inaugural player to be selected while representing the eighth‑tier side, highlighting the progress of the Isthmian League South Central outfit and offering a boost to its ambitions.
Mohamed joined Jersey Bulls in the summer, adding quality to the squad.
The summer signing was captured by photographer Lauren Queree.
He is the first player in the club’s history to receive a full senior international call‑up whilst wearing the Bulls shirt.
The 21‑year‑old has been recalled to the Somalia national team for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana.
He previously featured for Somalia in a March friendly against Mauritius.
Before moving to Jersey, Mohamed spent time in the academies of Manchester City, Liverpool and Wigan Athletic.
He has featured in all fifteen of the club’s Isthmian League South Central fixtures this season, helping the islanders to sit atop the table.
"This is an incredibly proud moment for everyone associated with Jersey Bulls Football Club," director Ian Horswell said, adding that Mohamed’s achievement is a fantastic milestone for both the player and the club.
Somalia will travel to Ghana on 12 November, with the return fixture scheduled four days later.
