At 19, forward Jair Monteiro signs permanently with Feirense, leaving Benfica after twelve seasons. The move takes the young striker to Liga Portugal 2, where he hopes to build on his final under‑23 campaign that yielded five goals from 25 appearances.

He also collected national youth titles with Benfica, winning the juvenile championship in 2022/23 and the junior championship in 2024/25. Both championships were secured with Benfica’s youth squads.
“At the moment he prepares for a new challenge in his sporting journey, Sport Lisboa e Benfica sends Jair Monteiro wishes of professional success and happiness in his personal life,” the club wrote in an official statement.
