The Irish Federation confirmed that the match will be played in Debrecen, Hungary, as scheduled, and that a significant majority of players voted in favour of holding the game at the Nagyerdei Stadion. The Irish statement highlighted that Israel fulfills its international commitments outside its own territory, which is why the Hungarian stadium is the chosen venue.
