Inter leads, Roma rises in the odds: the title race tightens

Serie A restarts under the banner of Inter, who closed the weekend with a clear 3‑0 win over Parma, maintaining the top spot alongside Lazio and pulling away Roma, held to a draw at Como in the first round of the championship.

Evolving bookmaker odds

888sport analysts have lowered Inter's odds to 1.38, compared with 1.75 in the previous round. Lautaro Martínez and his teammates are now in pole position for a second title. The odds on Gasperini's giallorossi have risen from 4.00 to 5.50 on Betpassion.

Milan, Como and Juventus have collected only one point, causing their comeback chances to collapse. Milan remains unbeaten but its odds rise to 13.00. Juventus, Lazio and Napoli are all at odds of 15.00, with Lazio still on top.

Lazio keeps the lead, the best start in history, but experts consider its title chances remote. Milan, led by Gattuso, has odds for first place 46 times higher than Inter's.

Roma, held to a draw at Como, is the only real rival according to the bookmakers, but its odds have increased. This rise reflects the pressure stemming from Inter's clear victory.

The contrast between Inter's consistency and Roma's uncertainty, together with the decline of Milan, Como and Juventus, marks a championship that is shaping up with Inter in front. The upcoming rounds will tell whether the odds will continue to diverge so dramatically.
