Instagram farewell: Wolff declares he will always be an Ajacied

🇳🇱 By 4AllFootball ·

Kayden Wolff, the 20‑year‑old forward, posted an emotional farewell on Instagram, announcing his departure from Ajax after five years in Amsterdam and confirming his move to FC Volendam via a heartfelt message that highlighted his love for the club and his belief that a part of him will always remain an Ajacied.

The transfer was completed on Wednesday, when Wolff signed a three‑season contract with FC Volendam that binds him until mid‑2029. The deal marks his first permanent senior move after years within Ajax’s system.

Wolff spent his formative years in the Volendam youth academy before Ajax recruited him in 2021. Despite five seasons in Amsterdam, a breakthrough into Ajax’s first team never materialised, prompting his return to the Kras Stadion.

Via Instagram, Wolff reflected on his time at Ajax, describing the club as more than just a football institution. He thanked trainers, staff, teammates and supporters for helping him develop both as a player and as a person.

“Although our paths now diverge, a part of me will always be an Ajacied,” he wrote. He expressed pride, gratitude and a wealth of beautiful memories as he departs.

During his spell with Jong Ajax, Wolff featured in 47 matches in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. He now looks to continue his development at the Kras Stadion with FC Volendam.
