Frédéric De Meyer named new STVV head coach

Frédéric De Meyer (44) has been appointed head coach of STVV. The Belgian replaces the previous manager ahead of the European campaign.

De Meyer served as assistant to Wouter Vrancken last season. His appointment follows internal restructuring at STVV.

Assistant coach Sepp De Roover and goalkeeper coach Jan Van Steenberghe remain at the club. Both retain their current roles under De Meyer’s staff.

The new head coach will oversee preparations for STVV’s European fixtures. His first priority is securing competitive results in the tournament.

Club officials confirmed the move in a press release. No further details on contract length were disclosed.
