Frankfurt eyes €12m boost as Ben Farhat could fill post‑Brown void

🇩🇪 By 4AllFootball Editorial ·

Eintracht Frankfurt are in advanced talks with 2. Bundesliga side Karlsruhe over 19‑year‑old Tunisian forward Louis (Louey) Ben Farhat, after a verbal agreement and a €12m valuation. The club hopes the deal will address a squad gap created by recent departures.

After Nathaniel Brown’s €50m move to Bayern Munich, Frankfurt have a transfer surplus and need reinforcements under Adi Hütter after missing out on European competition under Albert Riera. The forward’s arrival would bolster the attack.

Ben Farhat enjoyed a breakout 2025/26 season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 20 league matches. His form has attracted interest from several top clubs.

Sky Germany talks are progressing, with Die Adler having reached a verbal agreement with the Tunisian forward. The clubs are now negotiating the final fee.

Karlsruhe have set the player’s price at €12m, a contract runs until 2029, and the sale would become the club’s largest and the 11th most expensive 2. Bundesliga transfer ever. This valuation reflects his potential.

In March 2026, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and SGE also enquired, while Bayern Munich sent scouts to watch the Waiblingen native. Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg and France’s Nice have also shown interest.

Daniel Pinder noted that Frankfurt aim to finalize the deal soon, hoping to secure the teenager before the summer window closes. Continued negotiations will determine whether the transfer materialises.
