Feyenoord secures Spanish centre‑back Mika Mármol on four‑year deal
Feyenoord have completed the free signing of 24‑year‑old Spanish left‑footed centre‑back Mika Mármol, securing him on a four‑season contract after his spell with UD Las Palmas. The defender will add depth to the Rotterdam side as they prepare for the new campaign.
The transfer was completed without a fee, and Mármol, 24, will wear the number 35 shirt initially. He signs a deal that runs for four seasons with the Dutch club.
Earlier on Tuesday, Feyenoord announced the arrival of Spanish striker Nacho Ferri, a 21‑year‑old standing 1.92 m tall, who joins from Belgian side Westerlo. Ferri’s signing preceded Mármol’s presentation by six hours.
Mármol was introduced to the media alongside coaches Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Sipke Hulshoff, who began the season’s preparation on Monday. The trio now form part of the squad’s new core.

“It will be an adjustment to play outside Spain for the first time, but I am really looking forward to making Rotterdam my new home,” Mármol said on the club’s website. “I can’t wait to meet my new teammates, the staff and the supporters, and to make my first minutes in De Kuip special.” Mármol spent three seasons with FC Barcelona B before making his senior debut for FC Barcelona on 15 May 2022, substituting for Alejandro Balde. He then spent three seasons at UD Las Palmas, two in La Liga and the most recent in the Segunda División.Feyenoord locks up 21‑year‑old Nacho Ferri on long‑term deal
Mármol’s squad number may change during the summer, as is common with new arrivals.
