Feyenoord rejects record bid, PSV becomes new target of Al‑Ittihad

Feyenoord rejected the roughly €37.5 million bid from the Saudi club Al‑Ittihad for striker Anis Hadj Moussa. Technical director Dévy Rigaux said the club must first restructure. An earlier offer of around €30 million was also turned down.

Al‑Ittihad now targets PSV striker

After the rejection, the club turned its attention to PSV striker Esmir Bajraktarevic. reported that Al‑Ittihad wants to pay a hefty transfer fee. PSV is ready to cooperate.

Bajraktarevic arrived at PSV from New England Revolution in early 2025 for roughly €3 million. Since then he has played 43 matches, scoring seven goals and providing five assists, and is contracted until mid‑2029. His market value is estimated at €8 million; he was previously linked with SS Lazio, but that transfer fell through.

In Eindhoven the 21‑year‑old’s chances of playing time are limited, because Sami Ouaissa, Dennis Man and Ivan Perisic already occupy the same position. The presence of these players has made Bajraktarevic redundant since the arrival of Ayase Ueda.

Al‑Ittihad, the Saudi club, has indicated it wants to pay a ‘hefty transfer fee’ for Bajraktarevic, but the amount remains undisclosed. The club also wants to find a replacement for Hadj Moussa, putting pressure on the deadline. Hadj Moussa could have earned a top salary at Al‑Ittihad, but it is unclear whether he understands the decision from senior management. Had the deal gone through, it would have been a record for the Rotterdam club.
