Ferencváros eyes advantage over Nederlands' Twente in Europa League

Ferencváros, aware of the strength of FC Twente, are looking to turn their two‑match edge into a small advantage ahead of the first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round. The Hungarians come into the tie fresh from a 2‑1 and 3‑0 win over Vojvodina, hoping the experience will count.

Goalkeeper Dénes Dibusz echoed the sentiment, telling M4 Sport that Twente will be "a much tougher opponent than Vojvodina" and that the Hungarians aim to make Twente feel the pressure from the first whistle.

Since Borbély’s appointment, Ferencváros have switched from a three‑defender to a four‑defender system. Dibusz noted that there is still room for improvement but the players enjoy the new setup and are adapting well.
