Flekken and Lang among Six World Cup Candidates Training in Zeist
Mark Flekken, Noa Lang, Kees Smit, Guus Til, Quinten Timber and Luciano Valente trained on Monday at the Netherlands national team’s Zeist facility.
The six are among the candidates for the World Cup squad that coach Ronald Koeman will reveal later this week.
All six arrived in Zeist for a three‑day training block.
Monday sessions focused on tactical drills under Koeman’s staff.
The group will continue training on Tuesday and Wednesday before the final roster is announced.
Koeman’s shortlist includes other fringe players who will also be assessed during the camp.
The upcoming selection will determine the Netherlands' lineup for the World Cup.
Koeman is expected to publish the official list by the end of the week.
