He also rejected the rumors about alleged exaggerated financial demands and requests for full powers, calling them unfounded reconstructions.

Conte explained that he will consider a possible return only if he finds a club “that has lost sight of its history” and needs help to become great again. He recalled his “strong character” as a frequently cited element, but emphasized that it is not an essential requirement for a new role.
