The club posted a promotional video on its Instagram account under the slogan “The comeback is real”. The message reads: “The magic never left. Now is the time to bring it back to the pitch. On November 15, Ronaldinho returns. In yellow and red. Ravenna–Forlì”. The clip shows the Brazilian star on the grass with the number 10 on his back.

The match will be played on November 15 at 17:30 local time at the Benelli stadium. The fixture is part of the Italian Serie C.

Ronaldinho, winner of the Ballon d’Or in 2005 and world champion with Brazil in 2002, announced in June his return to professional football with Ravenna. The signing was confirmed as part of Italy’s third professional tier.

The club explained that the signing is mainly driven by a commercial strategy, although it expects the Brazilian to play at least one official match during the season. This decision also aims to boost the team’s image.

In August, the Porto Alegre star traveled to Italy for the presentation events and said he approaches the experience with the intention to compete, motivate his teammates and help the team complete a “spectacular” season. His words underline the player’s commitment to Ravenna’s project.

The information was released by Luca Bruno of the Ap‑LaPresse agency, accompanied by an AI‑generated audio. The announcement reaffirms Ronaldinho’s presence in Italy and fuels followers’ anticipation.
