Conference League in Turin, Torino's Malagò remarkable for the country
Turin's Juventus Stadium will host the final of the UEFA Conference League 2028, confirmed today by the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece, after evaluating the dossier submitted in June by the FIGC with the support of Juventus and the Municipality of Turin.
Allocation Procedure
The dossier also involved the Piedmont Region and, for hospitality aspects, Federalberghi Torino. The Executive Committee deemed that all requirements were met, making the project eligible for the final.
Juventus Stadium, also known as Juventus Stadium in UEFA contexts, has already hosted major international events: the 2014 Europa League final between Sevilla and Benfica, two matches of the 2021 Nations League Finals (Belgium‑France and the third‑place final between Italy and Belgium) and the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2022 final between Lyon and Barcelona.

“The allocation of the 2028 Conference League final to Turin is great news and confirms, once again, UEFA’s appreciation and confidence in Italy,” said FIGC president Giovanni Malagò. “Major international events are an extraordinary opportunity to promote our country and, above all, represent an investment in the future of Italian sport.”
Other UEFA events in Italy
The decision adds to two other competitions that Italy is already set to host in the coming years: the final stage of the Under‑19 Women’s European Championship in 2029 and UEFA EURO 2032, the latter in collaboration with Turkey.
