Como 1907 Ventures backs luxury platform Collecto with €45 m stake

🇮🇹 By 4AllFootball ·

Il Como, via its innovation vehicle Como 1907 Ventures, has taken a stake in Collecto, Italy’s first digital platform for fractional ownership of luxury collectibles, in a deal valuing Collecto at €45 million and naming the startup the club’s official Luxury Collectibles Partner.

The partnership was forged at the inaugural Pitch Day held in early December, an event that marked the official launch of the Como 1907 venture capital project developed together with The Players Fund.

During Pitch Day the Como 1907 Ventures team met Salvatore Zola, Co‑Founder and CPO of Collecto, and laid the foundations for the strategic agreement announced today.

Como 1907 is now recognised as one of the most distinctive emerging brands in international football, and the club will grant Collecto access to its global visibility and a network spanning sport, tourism and luxury lifestyle.

Operationally the deal includes the use of the official Como 1907 brand, joint media campaigns, exclusive items for Collecto users and a series of co‑branding events.

The first milestone of the collaboration was the Como Cup 2026, staged from 28 July to 1 August, where Collecto enjoyed a strategic presence in the FanZone, full infrastructure support, VIP passes for four match days and integration into the club’s retail experience.

The second phase will be the Hublot Watch Activation, launching worldwide on the Collecto app the Hublot COMO 1907 watch signed by Lucas da Cunha – number 33 of a limited series of 50, echoing the captain’s shirt number – and offering a chance to win VIP hospitality at a Como Champions League match.

Salvatore Zola said, “The partnership with Como 1907 marks a fundamental milestone that certifies Collecto’s value and the scalability of our business model, giving us immediate access to a global ecosystem that fuses sport and luxury.” Ryan Shelton added, “Collecto offers our fans a completely new way to own a piece of Como 1907, turning passion into shared access to collectible items in a way that has never existed before.”

In just two years since its foundation, Collecto has grown from a €380,000 transaction volume in its first year to roughly €60 million in 2025, amassed over 300,000 members under 40, and achieved an average share‑sale time of 24 hours, with the Como partnership accelerating its European expansion plans.
