Club Brugge refuses to be lured by Arsenal's winter bid

The 21‑year‑old striker Nicolo Tresoldi, who scored twelve goals this season and delivered hat‑tricks against Inter and STVV, is attracting the attention of Arsenal, which is considering a bid in January. However, Club Brugge makes it clear that the young forward is not for sale this winter, not even for a huge sum.
International interest
Arsenal is not the only European top club following Tresoldi; scouts from Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Barcelona have already visited Jan Breydel. Manchester United has also shown interest, but there is an agreement that the striker will remain in Brugge until the end of the season.
Club Brugge's selling strategy
In the summer Club Brugge rejected a €35 million bid from AS Roma. Meanwhile, rumours are circulating about a possible price of €40 to €50 million, with even a €70 million offer being mentioned. The club emphasizes that there is no price tag on Tresoldi and that, regardless of an astronomical sum, he may not leave in January. Sportingly, Club Brugge wants to keep the striker for the title race and the Champions League, partly thanks to the partnership with Carlos Forbs, who together have already been decisive 22 times this season.
Arsenal and Milan chase Bruges striker Tresoldi – winter transfer uncertain
Club Brugge previously employed a similar strategy with Christos Tzolis and Ardon Jashari, who remained in the squad until the summer. After their departure, the club was able to set another transfer record, further underscoring the current approach.
Although there are no official offers yet, interest in Tresoldi is steadily increasing. The rumours about the price stem from talks with various agents. The club wonders whether it can withstand an exceptional bid from a billionaire owner, while hoping that the young striker will continue to develop over the next six months.
