After almost two years away due to a doping suspension, Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk has been cleared to rejoin Chelsea, with the Football Association lifting his ban effective immediately, allowing the 25‑year‑old winger to travel to Hong Kong for the club’s pre‑season tour.

The shift from a nearly two‑year exclusion to an immediate reinstatement highlights a dramatic change in Chelsea’s squad options. The club now regains a versatile winger who had been unavailable for most of the season.

The Football Association explained that, under current scientific testing standards, the sample taken from the 25‑year‑old would not have been reported as a positive violation. Consequently, the suspension was removed with immediate effect.
